Roles and permissions
Choose between owner, admin, member, and viewer access.
Role summary
| Role | Best for | Access |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Workspace owner | Full control, including deletion and ownership changes |
| Admin | Operations lead | Manage all sites, members, settings, and integrations |
| Member | Contributor | Create sites and manage sites and alerts they own |
| Viewer | Stakeholder | Read-only access to sites, members, and team settings |
Important details
- Members may view the member list and remove eligible members, but cannot invite people or change roles.
- Only owners and admins can add or delete team integrations.
- Only owners can delete a team or transfer ownership.
- Site ownership means the user who originally created the site.
Use least privilege
Start teammates as viewers or members and grant admin or owner access only when they need team-wide control.
