Pause and resume monitoring
Temporarily stop checks during maintenance or an intentional outage.
Pause a site
Use the pause action for a site when you do not want scheduled checks to run. Downbot removes the site's scheduler and marks it as paused.
Paused means no new evidence
Uptime and incident data do not update while monitoring is paused. Remember to resume the site after maintenance.
Who can pause a site
- Owners and admins can pause or resume any site in the team.
- Members can pause or resume sites they created.
- Viewers cannot change monitoring state.
