Monitoring
Add a website monitor
Configure an HTTP check for a public website or endpoint.
Configure the monitor
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| URL | A complete URL including https:// or http:// |
| Display name | A recognizable name, up to 100 characters |
| Monitoring interval | 1, 5, 15, or 30 minutes; hourly; or daily |
| Timeout | 5 to 60 seconds; the default is 20 seconds |
| Expected status | The HTTP response code that means success; the default is 200 |
Choose a stable target
Monitor a lightweight URL that represents real availability. Avoid endpoints that intentionally redirect, require an interactive login, or perform expensive work unless that behavior is what you need to verify.
After creation
Downbot schedules the monitor immediately. Until evidence arrives, the site is shown as waiting for its first check. Open the site detail page to see the latest status code, response time, uptime windows, recent checks, and incidents.
